Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your personal information if you get in touch with Hazel Mabel Counselling, whether through the contact form, by email, or by phone.

What I collect. Whatever you choose to share when you contact me — typically your name, email address, and anything you write in your message, and your phone number if you give it. If we go on to work together, I'll also keep notes from our sessions.

Why I collect it. To reply to your enquiry, arrange sessions, and provide counselling. I don't use your details for marketing, and I don't share them with third parties except where the law requires it.

How long I keep it. If you make an inquiry but decide not to move forward with therapy, I will securely and permanently delete your contact form details and message within 30 days of our last contact.

Where it's stored. {{ Details of the systems used to store enquiries and notes, e.g. an encrypted note-taking app or a locked filing cabinet, and the email provider used for the contact form. }}

Your rights. You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, subject to my professional record-keeping obligations. To do this, email {{ hello@hazelmabelcounselling.co.uk }}.

Concerns. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
